Ingredients:
- 500 g venison legs
- 2 tablespoons Wild Classic from Cook&Grill
- 1 piece of orange
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 400 ml game stock
- 2 tsp sage
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 100 g celery sticks
- 100 grams of carrots
- 100 grams of onion
- 300 grams of tomatoes
- 150 ml red wine
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1 clove of garlic
Preparation:
- Dice the meat and sear in a pan with oil
- Stir in the tomato paste, sauté briefly and deglaze with red wine, cover and let simmer for 30 minutes
- Peel the onion and garlic and blanch, peel and deseed the tomatoes and then dice them
- Add the vegetables, orange zest and herbs to the meat
- Pour in the stock, season with Wild Classic and simmer covered for another 30 minutes
- Optionally, you can puree the sauce.
