Total time: 90 mins
Difficulty: medium

Ingredients :

200 g flour smooth

50 g vanilla sugar Cook&Grill

100 grams of butter

1 egg yolk

800 grams of apples

15 ml lemon juice

100 g apricot jam

Preparation:

1. FOR THE DOUGH: Put the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Cut the cold butter into pieces and add to the flour together with the egg yolk. Knead everything with your hands to form a smooth dough. Form the dough into a ball and wrap in cling film and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat the OVEN to 200 degrees.

3. Grease a TARTTE MOLD with butter. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and place in the tin. Cut off excess dough with a knife. The edge needs to be max. 1 cm high.

4. FOR THE FILLING: Wash, peel and slice the apples. Mix the apple slices with the lemon juice and vanilla sugar and fan them out over the dough. It's best to start on the outside and work your way in. Bake the tart for 40 minutes until the apples are soft and slightly brown.

5. FOR THE FLAZE: When the tart is on its last draw in the oven, heat the jam in a small saucepan. Spread it over the freshly baked tart.
