Vegetarian burger with quinoa fritters

Ingredients for the burger:

  • Brioche Buns

Ingredients for Quinoa Patties:

  • 250g quinoa
  • 300 ml vegetable soup
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 pc. Small onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 pepper
  • 20 cm leek
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • Cook&Grill Veggie Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Breadcrumbs for rolling

Instructions for quino patties

  1. Wash the quinoa in hot water and drain through a sieve
  2. Bring the vegetable broth to the boil and add the quinoa - cover and simmer over a low heat for about 15 minutes and then let it swell for 10 minutes
  3. Halve the peppers and cut into small pieces
  4. peel and finely grate the carrots and finely chop the leek,
  5. Finely chop the chili and onion
  6. then fry the vegetables and quinoa in a pan with the oil.
  7. Remove from the heat and add freshly pressed garlic and parsley - season with veggie spices
  8. Add the eggs and breadcrumbs to the mixture and stir in and leave to stand for about 30 minutes
  9. Form into patties and roll in breadcrumbs
  10. Fry the patties in oil on both sides until crispy
