Ingredients:
1 teaspoon bacon salt from COOKandGRILL
300 g macaroni
30 grams of butter
20 grams of flour
500ml milk
100g cheddar, grated
50g parmesan, grated
50 grams of cream cheese
salt, cayenne, nutmeg
Preparation:
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, stirring constantly and simmer until combined into a smooth paste.
Pour in the milk and stir until smooth, season with salt and pepper and simmer and stir for a few minutes.
Cook the noodles until al dente and drain. Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Grease a casserole dish with butter.
Mix 3/4 of the cheese and the paste with the pasta and season with the remaining spices. Place in the tin, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is golden. Take the mold out of the oven and spread the COOKandGRILL Bacon Salt over the Mac n Chesse as a last topping.
